What is the Poorman's Halfman
The Poorman's Half Man is a half Ironman triathlon. In retaliation to the ballooning prices of sporting events and the diminishing cash in our wallets, a few of us decided to "host" our own 70.3 event set in the beautiful Conejo Valley!
The course will begin in the sparkling waters of 24 hour Fitness. Once you've completed 1.2 miles (or 80+ laps), you ride off into the hills of Westlake and Agoura Hills. After racing through 56 miles of pavement, you'll find yourself running along side Westlake to finish off a half marathon. Throughout the course, participants will find aid stations stocked with everything you'll need to get from one spot to the next! The last station closes when the last person passes through it! All finishers will get a medal!
